Paul Elwood, Guitar Coach: E Blues workout
Demo Videos for technique, tools and generally, having fun playing guitar. A typical E blues, using the 1/4/5 chords. In E, those are E,A and B. If we also use the 7th (dom. 7, a whole step below the octave) that automatically gives us two of the 5 pentatonic scale notes for those chords, and if we include the b5 or "blues" note, it makes our extemporaneous playing over those changes sound much more authentic. Throw in some bends, et voila! Sounds like pretty legit blues to me. PDF notes here: www.patreon.com/posts/120060297

Demo Videos for technique, tools and generally, having fun playing guitar. iReal is such an excellent tool! In this video the program is set to show piano chords for one hand (there's a two handed option too). It's very flexible as well- you can change key, tempo, instrument (and the appropriate chord shapes) between guitar, piano or ukulele. You can even set it to show chord scales as the play...

Nagyon jó!

thank you!
На картинках неправильно нарисованы лады. Нулевой порожек ездит по грифу?)) Или это каподастр бегает?
Sorry for the confusion. look at the number next to the fingering diagram, that will tell you what number fret that is on the neck for each chord. I do offer a free online lesson but I only speak english. :-(
@@paulelwood-guitar Thanks for the answer. I understand this is a designer mistake. Fret numbers are visible and clear. OK
@@antonivanoff8004 have fun! this is a great tune to play on guitar!

@@paulelwood-guitar M waiting sir
nice video thank you very much for your help stay safe 🙏
Thank you too
simple logic : a fingerboard can also be referred to as a fretboard because it has frets
yes that's true, thanks for pointing that out.
Very great this helped me
Glad to hear it! Keep going!!!
Thanks bro 😊
Welcome 😊
Thank you glad I found this .. 211122. 122211. Top string to bottom string. What scales are these? One seems like a inversion .. are those e minor ?
Great! I hope it's helpful. To answer your question, you are describing a chord- one of the names for the first one is F#6add9add12. Try this outstanding resource: jguitar.com/chordname?string5=2&string4=2&string3=1&string2=1&string1=1&string0=2
Thanks i needed it for my music homework!
Happy to help!
Excellent! Thanks a lot!
Thanks! hope you find it helpful. Cheers!

my pleasure! hope you get some good use from it.
Thank you! Helped a ton!
I'm so glad to hear that! Tanks for letting me know
And lastly 'strings'..😄😄
yep! how could I forget that??? Thanks!
Saan banda ang truss rod?
thanks for the note! Yes you are correct- on some acoustic guitars there is a truss rod. I'll keep that in mind for the next iteration of the video. Thank you!
Great video! 💥🎸
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you. Very helpful
You're welcome!
👍🏻
cheers!
What is this black magic...oh boy, thank you for the guide. So basically you play 2 strings at the same time to give the illusion of strumming, while you actually just pick them pretty fast. So is Tempo the key for that illusion?
Hi! thanks for your comment. it's just a style of playing. the real trick is to go slowly enough at first so you can get the pattern before you try to play it at speed.
hey man, thanks for the lesson. it is so far the easiest and simplest version I saw
Quite welcome Arthur! Ut's a great tune and not too hard to get under your hand certainly
graciaas!!!!
my pleasure!
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing this. Cool guitar!
Thanks John! I've had this in the vault for a while.
Wonderful 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you! Cheers!
Nicely done, gentlemen!
Part 2 please 🙏🏽 and thank you!
Thanks for this 🙏
of course! my pleasure!
Confused between saddle and bridge Which is what??
the saddle is the part the strings are touching and the bridge is the wood part that connects the saddle with the guitar body, hope that helps!
Fantastic! 👌👌
well that is very kind of you! I love playing with these guys!
ua-cam.com/video/-f-DzusqJUQ/v-deo.html you're video copied in this youtubd channle

Hey Paul. Lookin good.
Thanks Vin! You too!
I cant get the c chord to sound like it should. Looks like your barring the 4 fret and barring the d,g and b on the 6 fret but on the print out its got me on the 5th fret for the d,g,b????

Hey thanks. I have played this song before but I kinda needed a refresher course especially on the intro. Clear conscience lesson.
Hey Austin! I hope it was useful! I'm actually getting ready to revisit this in a little more sophisticated way- that might be fun for you too. Happy new year and very best regards, Paul Elwood
